ABOUT JELLY JAMM
The intention of Jelly Jamm is to celebrate music, fun and friendship.
Jelly Jamm takes place on a fictional, colourful planet called Jammbo, following the adventures of seven characters: Bello, Goomo, Rita, Mina, Ongo, the King, and the Queen, who live in a small neighbourhood there.
The planet has a music factory where all of the music in the universe originates from and is produced continuously through bubbles. If the music produced by the factory had stopped, time on Jammbo would also stop, causing the characters to freeze. In each episode, the characters interact with each other in various games and activities, learning morals and lessons which the viewers can learn from.
There will also always be a jelly song either at the beginning, middle, or end of each episode, that Jelly Jamm is known for!
BELLO
DARING, CURIOUS, IDEALISTIC AND SHORTSIGHTED
His insatiable curiosity and boundless energy make Bello the natural leader of the group. He is everyone’s go-to guy for fun and adventures. Even if there are no adventures, he’ll invent one with many twists and turns.
MINA
SCIENTIFIC, DIRECT, GANGLY AND SENSIBLE
Mina is the scientist of the group and her inventions often help the group get out of sticky situations. She loves experimenting in her lab and discovering new technology. Like all good scientists, her catchphrase is
‘what will happen next?!’
rITA
CURIOUS, PLAYFUL AND IMPETUOUS
She is the definition of cute with her pink dress and favorite doll ‘Princess’. But looks can deceive as she has been found using Princess to hammer a nail into the floor!
gOOMO
SENTIMENTAL, MALLEABLE, ADORABLE AND INSECURE
Bello’s best friend has a big heart. He is the peace keeper in disagreements and tries to find a solution that makes everyone happy. However, his solutions aren’t always practical and often make situations spin out of control!
ongo
OPTIMISTIC, RELAXED, INDEPENDENT AND COOL
Ongo is the most mysterious character of them all. He doesn’t use words to speak to the group, he communicates with sounds and mime! He also lives in a house with no walls or ceiling, just an outline on the floor.
KING
LAZY, ARBITRARY, GRUMPY AND CHILD-LIKE
He certainly has the voice and mannerisms of a king but he behaves more like a child. He has fun making up pointless laws, misbehaving and even having tantrums. He loves being King!
QUEEN
LOVING, PATIENT, DAPPY AND MOTHERLY
While King is busy playing videogames, Queen makes sure everything on planet Jammbo is in working order. She also has an inherent moral compass and is a great guide for the kids.
dODOS
WISE, POETIC, FASCINATING AND REAL
These fascinating creatures love having fun and dancing to music on planet Jammbo. There are many different species including land Dodos, water Dodos and airborne Dodos. Their job is to operate and maintain the Music Factory.
